Content Management
Autonomy!
Content management allows those that own or create the content to publish the content. No longer does an outside firm or the already-over-tasked IT department have to manage your web site.
The Marketing Department, Sales Management, Corporate Communications, Consultants, Associates and Partners responsible for the information published on the site or mined from the site can handle it all themselves.
BoomSocket (formerly i3SiteTools) is a Site Management Platform that we began building in late 1999 to allow our clients'
least technical folk to manage their entire site.
BoomSocket-driven sites serve up millions of pages of content each year. Almost all of that content is managed by non-technical internal resources!
We are committed to the concept that "
Content Drives The Web." In concert with that commitment, we have open-sourced
BoomSocket and now include it with all of the sites we develop: Completely free of charge, free of licensing fees.
Our goal is to empower our clients.
The web site is a Marketing property, a Sales property, an Operations property or, most likely, a combination. It is not an IT property.
So why should you have to ask IT folk to update the site? They have critical issues to address.
We give you the ability to manage all aspects of your site.
BoomSocket (formerly i3SiteTools) is not just a content management system, it is a Site Management System.
Marketing calls and says they need a press release posted on the site yesterday. They want you to drop everything to post it now!
What if they could manage the entire site themselves?
What if you could focus on your enterprise applications, business systems, user support, research ... anything but content updates?
We hear you.
BoomSocket (formerly i3SiteTools) is not just a content management system, it is a Site Management System.
Content management systems are all about the right people for the right job.
Your internal resources should be able to manage the
entire site without having to involve your IT department or an outside firm.
When your Marketing, Sales and Ops folk can update the site themselves, they do! In fact, with one hour of training, your least-technical resource can be updating your site.
Autonomy yields lower total cost of ownership and better productivity.
